How to Create a Web Server IIS on Windows Server 2012 R2

Internet Information Services (IIS, formerly Internet Information Server) is an extensible web server created by Microsoft for use with Windows NT family.[2] IIS supports HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, FTPS, SMTP and NNTP. It has been an integral part of the Windows NT family since Windows NT 4.0, though it may be absent from some editions (e.g. Windows XP Home edition), and is not active by default.

Internet Information Services(IIS,atau yang dikenal Internet Information Server)adalah sebuah sebuah ekstensi yang dibuat oleh Microsoft untuk digunakan dengan Windows NT family.[2] IIS mendukung HTTP,HTTPS,FTP,FTPS,SMTP dan NNTP.Itu sudah menjadi sebuah bagian utuh dari Windows NT family sejak Windows NT 4.0,meskipun itu bisa menjadi halangan untuk beberapa edisi seperti(Windows XP Home edition),dan dapat tidak dapat digunakan seperti semestinya.

A.IIS Installation

1.First,Click Add roles and feature on Manage icon from Dashboard click next through the server roles.

Pertama,Klik Add roles and feature pada icon Manage dari Dashboard klik next sampai ke server roles.

 2.On the Server Roles choose the Web Server(IIS) and there will be a Popup Add Roles and Feature Wizard which contains of automatic feature installation when we want to install the Web Server(IIS).After that you must click the Add Feature button and click next for the next move.

Pada Server Roles pilihlah Web Server(IIS) dan disitu akan muncul sebuah Popup Add Roles and Feature Wizard yang berisi tentang fitur yang akan otomatis terinstall saat kita mau menginstall Web Server(IIS).Setelah itu anda harus klik tombol Add Feature klik next untuk langkah selanjutnya.

 3.Because all of the Features have been installed before,on this step you just pass through it and click next.

Karena semua fitur sudah terinstall pada tahap sebelumnya, pada langkah ini anda hanya perlu lalui dan klik next.

 4.On this step, the Web Server Role(IIS) which contains of the informations you should read about the Web Server Role and what can you got from the Web Server(IIS).After that you click the next button.

Pada langkah ini, Web Server Role(IIS) yang berisi tentang informasi yang harus anda baca tentang Peraturan Web Server dan apa yang dapat kamu peroleh dari Web Server(IIS).Setelah itu klik tombol next.

 5.Confirm the installation which is the features you've been installed before.Make sure for what you've installed before then click the install button.

Konfirmasikan penginstalan yang telah kau install sebelumnya.Pastikan tentang apa yang telah anda install sebelumnya lalu klik tombol install.

 6.After you choose the install button there will be the Result step,you'll be notice that your installation have been done well.close the Add Roles and Features Wizard and move to the next path.

Setelah memilih tombol install akan ada langkah Result, anda akan melihat apakah yang anda install telah berhasil.tutup Add Roles and Feature Wizard dan pindah ke langkah selanjutnya.

 B.IIS Configuration

1.Click the Tools button on the Server Manager then choose the Internet Information Services(IIS)Manager.

Klik tombol Tools pada Server Manager lalu pilihlah Internet Information Services(IIS)Manager.

 2.This is the main display of the Internet Information Services(IIS)Manager

Ini adalah tampilan utama pada Internet Information Services(IIS)Manager

3.Before we continue the Internet Information Services,We should create a host or subdomain www for web.Get into the server manager, click the tools button and click the DNS.

Sebelum kita lanjut ke Internet Information Services,Kita harus membuat terlebih dahulu host atau subdomain www untuk web.Masuk ke server manager,klik tombol tools lalu klik DNS.

4.Create a new host or subdomain in our domains and use the IP Adress with the Web Server IP.

Buatlah host baru atau subdomain pada domain anda dan gunakan IP Adress dengan IP Web Server.

C.IIS Testing

1.For the Server just open a web browser and put your domain into it.

Pada server buka saja browser dan masukkan domain anda.

 2.For the client, you must set the DNS IP first just like the Server IP and you may open any browser for accessing the IIS and use your domain.

Untuk client,anda harus masukkan terlebih dahulu seperti IP server dan anda dapat membuka browser apapun untuk mengakses IIS dan masukkan domain anda
